Katherine M. Scott, 86, of Ashland, died Sunday, Dec. 29, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility in Ashland.
Mrs. Scott was born Dec. 4, 1916 in Frankfort, a daughter of the late John and Carrie Bell Morgan. She was the widow of Lincoln Scott.
She was a former head cook with Ashland Oil Inc., a member of New Hope Baptist Church, former member of the Eastern Star Chapter #32, a devoted employee and friend of the John C.C. Mayo and Rexford Blazer families.
She is survivied by two dear friends. Nancy Hobstetter and Betty Cooper, both of Ashland.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, 2003. at Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Henry L. Mosley and Suffragan Bishop Elzy Thomas.
There will be no visitation.
