Lowell David “Dave” Batten, age 53, of Flatwoods, Ky., died Jan. 31, 2006, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital.
He was born July 10, 1952, in Ashland, Ky., a son of the late Flossie Moore.
He was a collector for Members Choice Credit Union and owner and operator of A&D Cleaning.
Surviving are his companion, Angie Estep of Flatwoods; a son, David Batten and wife, Jennifer, of Burleson, Texas; a daughter, Carrie Batten of Burleson; a stepdaughter, Carla Estep; grandchildren Hannah and David Batten; a stepgrandchild, MaKenzie Estep; and a loving aunt, Mary Bolden of Proctorville, Ohio.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, 2006, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by the Rev. Richard Kiger. Burial will be in Valley View Memorial Gardens in Hurricane, W.Va.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Feb. 2, 2006, at the funeral home.
