Cecil Robert “Joe” Little Jr. (1935-2006)
Cecil Robert “Joe” Little Jr., 71, of Ashland, Ky., died Friday, June 16, 2006, in King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.
Mr. Little was born June 1, 1935, in Ashland, a son of the late Cecil Robert Sr. and Dorothy Marie Miller Little. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church in Ashland, American Legion Post No. 76 in Ashland and the Elks BPOE No. 350. He retired from Calgon Carbon Corporation and was a U.S. Army veteran.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Lowe Little, and a brother, William T. Little.
Mr. Little is survived by a daughter, Cathy Craig and her husband Jon of Findlay, Ohio; and two granddaughters, Amelia and Sarah Craig of Findlay.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2006, at Steen Funeral Home- Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland. Dr. Floyd Paris will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call from noon until the service hour Tuesday at the funeral home.
