Sara M. "Sally" Hemlepp, 70, of Ashland, Ky., died Tuesday, Jan. 14, 2003, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
Mrs. Hemlepp was born Aug. 8, 1932, in Van Lear, Ky., a daughter of the late Pat and Sophia Collins Lambert.
A brother, Bobby Lambert, also preceded her in death.
She was a retired branch manager of National City Bank.
Surviving are her husband, P.D. Hemlepp of Ashland; two sons, Pat and Julie Hemlepp of Hilliard, Ohio, and John and Heidi Hemlepp of Versailles, Ky.; two daughters, Susan Hall and Mary Davis, both of Ashland; grandchildren, Matthew and Laura Hemlepp, Justin, Kristin, Sam and Katherine Hemlepp, Lori Royster, Kelli Hall, Kevin Hall, Holly Davis and Emily Davis; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, 2003, at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by the Rev. Charles E. Stewart and Suffragan Bishop Elzy Thomas. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 tonight, Jan. 16, 2003, at the funeral home.
