I just read about Jake passing away. I have fond memories of the times I shared with all of you at the Gospel Tabernacle. I espically remember the talks after church. A lot of what I learned came in those talks and trips to members homes after Sunday Night service. Many times over the years I've thought about Jake and smiles came to my face. Heaven has gained another solider. As a foster parent to a special needs child I have come to realize how important loving, caring parents are, and Nacy and Mary you were forunate to have two of the best. As one who lost his wife 2 years ago, I know the pain and hurt you must be feeling. The are certinaly more questions than answers. Although I don't have all the answers, I know as do you that we know the one who does and someday maybe death will make some sense. I will keep all of you in my prayers.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I wish we could have come up for the funeral and got to see everyone. Dad will not fly and he wasn't up for the drive. I know Jake told dad he was ready to go as he was right with the lord. That's the best we could have wished for. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss.
