Faye Carol Luzadder Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1955 - 2008 Faye Carol Luzadder (1955-2008) Ms. Faye Carol Luzadder, 52, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland after an extended battle against brain cancer. Ms. Luzadder, daughter of James and Patty Luzadder, was born April 15, 1955, in Fairmont, W.Va. The family moved to Ashland in 1957 and Faye graduated from Paul G. Blazer High School in 1973. After graduation, Ms. Luzadder worked for General Telephone in Ashland before moving to Lexington in 1984. There she worked in sales, traveling throughout northeastern Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her father, James A. Luzadder, and is survived by Patty Luzadder, her mother, of Hobe Sound, Fla.; Mrs. David Wooten (Debra), her sister, of Catlettsburg, Ky.; and Mr. Ken Luzadder, her brother, of Orlando, Fla. Faye will also be missed by her many friends and colleagues. A service celebrating Ms. Luzadders life will be at 2 p.m. today, March 29, at First Christian Church, 1930 Winchester Ave. in Ashland. Steen Funeral Home-Marshall Steen Chapel in Ashland is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Hospice, the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society.

My thoughts are with you all at this sad time. Debbie and Ken, You may not remember, but Faye and I had a date or two in high school. My strongest memory is the first time I picked her up, I was asked in to meet your parents. They were very nice and friendly, and I had been taught to taught to talk to the parents of a date, so we had a nice conversation. Unknown to me, Faye apparently was very embarrassed and felt awkward with this, and when we left the house she gave me what-for about it and said " I thought yu would never quit talking- I wanted to leave! It all seems so quaint and innocent now. My condolences, Doug
