Minnie L. Hanners Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1931 - 2008 Minnie L. Hanners (1931-2008) Minnie L. Hanners, 77, of Ashland, Ky., died Nov. 4, 2008, in Kings Daughters Medical Center. Mrs. Hanners was born April 2, 1931, in Ashland, and was the daughter of the late Sue Taylor May. She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Hanners, and a son, Gary Hanners, who died in 2000. She was retired from McMeans Pharmacy. Survivors include a son, William Hanners of Ashland; a sister, Duretta Carr of Wurtland, Ky.; and grandchildren Gary Hanners Jr. of Flatwoods, Ky., and Bobby Hanners of Fort Myers, Fla. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Rick Mays. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery. Friends may call after noon Friday at the funeral home.
