Harold Wiley Sr. - 1925-2008

Harold "Frank" Wiley Sr. has gone to be with our Lord. A memorial service will be performed graveside by Clyde Bowling of Wayside Baptist Church at the Blevins Family Cemetery in Argillite on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008, at 2 p.m.

Frank was born to William Edgar Wiley and Fannie Belle Dials Wiley in Catlettsburg on Dec. 30, 1925.

He was preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Stella L. Perkins Wiley; and an infant daughter, Elizabeth A. Wiley; brothers, Bill Wiley, Ellis Wiley, James Wiley and Thomas Wiley; and a sister, Inez Dean.

Frank leaves behind his loving daughter, Peggy Nieves and her husband, Jose, of Newville, Pa.; her five children and 13 grandchildren; Bernadine M. Wiley of Ohio, her three children and five grandchildren; Harold Wiley and his wife, JoAnne, of Wormleysburg, Pa., and their two daughters; David Wiley and his wife, Robin, of Newville, Pa., and their four children; Mary Argbegast and her husband, Dan, her two children and two grandchildren; brother, Woodrow Wiley of Springfield, Ohio; sister Ilah (Marvin) Blevins of Louisa; brother, Chester Wiley of Catlettsburg; and a brother, Paul Wiley of Russell; beloved sister-in-law, Mary Kelley-Perkins of Oak Harbor, Ohio.

Frank also leaves behind a whole host of family and friends, know that he greatly loved you all!

Frank served in the U.S. Navy in World War II and retired as a mechanic from the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pa.

Pop, may peace be with you, you are always in our hearts!

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 600 E. Main St., Suite 102, Louisville, KY 40202-1077.
