
Anna Trimble Spears - 1928-2008
Anna Trimble Spears, age 80, of Ashland, Ky., died Nov. 21, 2008, in Jo Lin Nursing Home in Ironton, Ohio.
She was born July 6, 1928, in Riceville, Ky., a daughter of the late Luther and Tellie Tackett Trimble.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Spears; a daughter, Doris Spears; and a sister, Eulah Blevins.
A homemaker, she was a member of Mavity Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are a son, Adam Spears of Catlettsburg; a daughter, Leneva Rogers of Cannonsburg; brothers, Delmar Trimble and wife, Carolyn of Owensville, Ky.; and James Trimble and wife, Sharon of Lexington, Ky.; sisters, Arminta Copley and husband, Don of Ashland, Mable Johnson of Westwood, and Beulah Chambers of South Point; grandchildren, Michelle Scott of Tennessee, Michael Rogers of Romney, W.Va., Marc Rogers and Matthew Rogers, both of South Point, Marty Rogers of Ashland and Janice Green of Arkansas; and great-grandchildren, Troy, Mandy, C.J., Zack, Bobby Jo, Shawn, Sarah, Shelby, Andrew, Emily, Shelby ShaeAnn, Hunter, Brandon, and Nicholas
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland by Pastor Mike Gullett. Burial will be in Dixon Cemetery.
