Lorene Holbrook Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1951 - 2009 Lorene Lori Reeves Holbrook (1951-2009) Lorene Lori Reeves Holbrook, 57, of Ashland, Ky., died Tuesday afternoon, March 17, 2009, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital. She was born July 21, 1951, in Grayson, Ky., a daughter of Mabel Pauline Sergent Reeves of Summit, Ky., and the late John Burke Reeves. She worked in the Accounts Receivable Department at Pathways and was a member of Westwood Christian Church. Additional survivors include a daughter, Patricia Trish Evans and husband Roger of Ashland; two brothers, John David Reeves of Paintsville, Ky., and James Ernest Jim Reeves and wife Debbie of Ashland; a grandson, Michael Evans; a nephew, Dr. Stephen Reeves; nieces Stephanie Elcewicz, Leesa Reeves and Leena Meade; great-nephew James Isaac Meade; great-niece Sara Shope; and a special friend, Dan Skaggs of Raceland, Ky. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2009, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland by Dean Jackson, minister, and Pastor Jim Barrett. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today, March 19, 2009, at the funeral home. Friends may make contributions to the Cannonsburg Trinity United Methodist Church Food Pantry, 11620 Midland Trail Road, Ashland, KY 41102.

I was so saddened to hear about Lori's passing.She was a very good friend. She was so proud of her daughter and little family.She will surely be missed by all who knew and loved her.

My heart breaks for Lori's family as I know they are facing a difficult time in their lives...Lori will be missed by all....she was looking forward to our class reunion and we will miss her so much. My prayers are with the family.

I Love You Lori with all my heart. You left me way to soon but you always said you would be setting on the creek bank waiting for me. I always told you I will be looking for you. My voice cannot find the words to tell you how much my heart aches for you, because it knows the pain and agony that you feel. I will miss her terribly. She was a dear friend for most of our lives. I will remember her always and will keep you in my prayers.
