Johnson, 87, of Rancho Mirage, Calif., formerly of Ashland, died Saturday in Odyssey House in Palm Desert, Calif. She was born Sept. 15, 1921, in Pike County. There will be no public funeral service. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland. Condolences may be sent to www.steenfuneralhomes.com.
