Linville G. Browning Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1917 - 2009 Linville G. Browning Sr. (1917-2009) Linville G. Browning Sr., 92, of Ashland, Ky., died Saturday evening, May 23, 2009 at his residence. He was born April 21, 1917, in Man, W.Va., a son of the late Wetzel and Bessie Browning. His wife, Mabel Mae Perry Browning, died in 1995. He was retired from Union Concrete and Pipe Co. in Kenova, W.Va. After his retirement, he spent many years as a farmer. He was of the Baptist faith and a member of Teamsters Local No. 505. Surviving are two sons, Linville G. Browning Jr. of Ashland and Brian (Leslie) Browning of Meter, Ga.; three daughters, Marie (Burton) Potter of South Shore, Ky., Brenda (Bob) Delaney of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Dreama (Dave) Damron of Pedro, Ohio; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Rose Hill Burial Park. Services are under the direction of Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland.
