Dorothy K. Wilson (1929-2009)
Dorothy K. Wilson, 79, of Ashland, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2009, in Woodland Oaks Health Care Facility in Ashland.
Dorothy was born Sept. 2, 1929, in Ashland, a daughter of the late Robert Louis and Mary D. Hills Kahne.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, James Wilson, and is survived by her first husband, Robert Doll.
Dorothy was a graduate of Ashland High School and the University of Kentucky with a degree in communications. She and her first husband, Robert, had a radio morning talk show in Frankfort, Ky., for many years.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Robert "Bob" and Ronny Doll of San Diego, Calif.; a daughter, Dee Anne Bryll and her husband, Ed Cohen, of Cincinnati, Ohio; a brother, Louis Kahne of Ashland; and a sister and brother-in-law, Roberta Dee and Fletcher T. Wolfe of Wake Forest, N.C. Dorothy also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009, at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel by Dr. Lee Gussler.
Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the mausoleum chapel.
