Nan Barker, 81, of Ashland, Ky., died Sunday, Aug. 18, 2002, at her residence.
Mrs. Barker was born Jan. 5, 1921, in Pike County, Ky., a daughter of the late Joe and Mary Osborne Hall.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Jeff Barker.
She was a homemaker and was a member of Pollard Baptist Church.
Her survivors include her husband, Dormie Barker of Ashland; two sons, Don Barker and Larry Barker, both of Ashland; five grandchildren, Leigh Ann Riddle of Catlettsburg, Ky., and Donald Joseph Barker, John Damon Barker, Terri Hammond and Lisa Riffe, all of Ashland; and four great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by the Rev. Tom Swartzwelder. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park in Ashland.
Friends may call from 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at the funeral home.
