David Dwaine Blair, 50, of 3024 Railroad St., Ashland, Ky., died Thursday, Aug. 22, 2002, in King's Daughters Medical Center.
Mr. Blair was born March 8, 1952, in Ashland, a son of George and Rosolene Howard Rice of Ashland and the late James Edward Blair.
He was a welder for H. Coal.
He is survived by a stepson, Dustin Herubin of Colorado; a stepdaughter, Leigh Ann Boggs of Ashland; three brothers, Danny J. Blair of Ironton, Ohio, George Rice Jr. of Ashland and Michael Rice, also of Ashland; and two sisters, Kimberly Luther of Hickory Flats, Miss., and Alison Suttons of Ashland.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 26, 2002, at the Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by the Rev. Paul Dillow. Burial will be in Ashland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 25, 2002, at the funeral home.
