Margaret ``Margo" Deal, 88, of Ashland, Ky., died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2002, at her home following an extended illness.
Miss Deal was born Oct. 7, 1913, in Greenup County, Ky., a daughter of the late Jeff and Laura Bishop Deal.
She was a sales clerk for Ashland Dry Goods, Beverly Shop and Delmar Shop, all in Ashland. She was a member of Pollard Baptist Church in Ashland.
Surviving are a sister, Lorraine Brown of Ashland; and four nieces, Mildred Creech of Russell, Ky., Lee Patton of Catlettsburg and Joyce Crabtree and Clara Lambert, both of Clearwater, Fla.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by Pastor Tom Swartzwelder. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
