Harold Gene Bowen, 45, of Ashland, Ky., died Saturday, Jan. 12, 2002, at his residence of a sudden illness.
Mr. Bowen was born Nov. 3, 1956, in Ashland, a son of Ida Mae Bowen of Michigan and the late John H. Bowen.
He was a former employee of Maddox Tree Service.
Additional survivors include his wife, Sharon Ann Runyon Bowen of Ashland; two sons, Bruce Inlund of Ashland and Harold Gene Bowen II of Florida; a stepson, Cory Runyon of Ashland; a daughter, Brittany Ann Bowen of Ashland; a stepdaughter, Christy Hounshell of Ashland; two brothers, Tony Bowen of Pennsylvania and Terry Bowen of Lexington, Ky.; three sisters, Teresa Sagraves of Ashland, Leta Delaney of Lexington and Maria Davis of Michigan; and three stepgrandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2002, at Steen Funeral Home-Ashland Chapel by Pastor Ricky Kirk.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
