PHYLLIS JEAN BLEVINS SPETA
1945-2012
Phyllis Jean Blevins Speta, 66, of Greenup, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 2, 2012, in Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell.
Mrs. Speta was born March 16, 1945, in Oldtown, a daughter of the late Nickie and Sara Myrtle Rose Blevins.
She was a member of Heritage Freewill Baptist Church in Cannonsburg.
She was a retired employee of Con Agra Foods in Grayson.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester Rose and Arnold Rose and two sisters, Geraldine Bradford and Shirlene McCarty.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, James Joseph Speta.
One son, Jerry (Angie) Speta of Greenup; one brother, James (Erma) Blevins of Argillite; One sister, Ruth Brown of Argillite; two grandchildren, Timothy TJ Speta and Nicholas Speta; and several nieces, nephews and other family members who will greatly miss her.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, 2012, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Edward Cook and Brother Joe Hutchinson. Burial will be in East Carter Memory Gardens in Grayson.
Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and one hour before the service Monday at the funeral home.
