Kendall "Kro" Allen Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2012 Kendall Kro Allen 2012 - 1928 Kendall Kro Allen, 83, of Oldtown, Kentucky passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 at Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wurtland, Kentucky. Mr. Allen was born June 3, 1928 in Oldtown, Kentucky a son of the late William Buck and Irene Virgin Allen. He was a retired farmer, coal miner and Logger Was a United States Army Veteran He was preceded in death by 1 son Carl Allen 1 brother and 3 sisters He is survived by His wife of 60 years Zola Sargent Allen 2 sons David (Sharon) Allen Oldtown, KY William (Judy) Allen Paducah, KY 6 grandchildren 5 great-grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, March 12, 2012 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky . Burial will be in the Allen Cemetery in Oldtown, Kentucky. Visitation will be Monday from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00. Condolences may be sent to reedfuneralhome.us

David, I am so very sorry about the loss of your dad. He was a good man, I will always remember him. He was always really nice to me. I would love to talk to you sometime, God bless you David.

Kro was a life long friend. I always enjoyed his laugh and quick wit. I certainly will miss him. He is with the Father now in that eternal place.
