Ramey 1940 - 2012 Bobby Joe Ramey, 71, of New Boston, Ohio formerly of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Friday, March 30, 2012 at his home. Mr. Ramey was born September 28, 1940 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late John Charles Sr. and Viola Reffett Ramey. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Everett Ramey Marion Ramey Carl Ramey 4 sisters Lucille Hamilton Hazel Duzan Lorene Ramey Anna Dean Ramey He is survived by 1 brother John Charles Ramey Jr. Greenup, KY 3 sisters Faye Bowling Portsmouth, Ohio Zola Wheeler Greenup, KY Edna Prater Columbus, Ohio A special niece Karen Allen Portsmouth, Ohio Funeral services will be conducted a 1:00 pm Monday, April 2, 2012 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Glenn Stephenson. Burial will be in the Ramey Family Cemetery, Oldtown, Kentucky. Friends may call from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Sunday and one hour before the service on Monday. Condolences may be sent to reedfuneralhome.us
