Eugene Gene Martin, 85, of Route 207, Argillite, KY, passed away, Friday, October 5, 2012 in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY.
Mr. Martin was born September 28, 1927 in Pactolus, KY, a son of the late Robert and Carrie Blevins Martin.
He was also preceded in death by

Gene loved to fish and was retired from CSX Railroad.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Freeda Alfair Harris Martin

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Bill Bush
Burial will be in the Oldtown Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6-9 pm Tuesday and one hour before the funeral on Wednesday at the funeral home.
