Joyce L. Woods, 69, of Greenup, Kentucky went to be with the Lord where she added her warm and generous spirit to the glory that is Heaven Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Oakmont Manor, Flatwoods, Kentucky.
Mrs. Woods was born July 7, 1943 in Ashland, Kentucky a daughter of the late Raymond Nichols and Oma Jackson Braden.
She was a retired bookkeeper and former volunteer from Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky where she made many friends.
She was a former member of the Warnock Homemakers of America where she will always be remembered with love.
Joyce lived a life of love , sacrifice and a devotion to family that has inspired all who knew her.
Her family that she gave up so much for will continue to live up to her example. Her infectious smile and keen wit impressed all who met her and would more often than not win her a friend for life.
Her family thanks God for every minute she gave them and will honor her memory by returning that love to their family and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Plum Grove Cemetery, Greenup, Kentucky by Bro. Wayne Stephenson and Bro. Tom Heaberlin.
