Clarence Griffith, 90, of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 8, 2013 in Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wurtland, Kentucky.
Mr. Griffith was born September 14, 1922 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late Henry and Amanda Conley Griffith.
He was retired from AK Steel in Ashland, Kentucky
A United States Navy World War II Veteran where he was stationed in the South Pacific on the USS ESSEX.

Clarence will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Graveside rites will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, February 11, 2013 at Plum Grove Cemetery, Greenup by Rev. Jack Edwards and Elder Gary Blevins.
Military rites will be performed by James L. Flannery, American Legion Post 276,South Shore, Kentucky.
Visitation will be Monday 11:00 am - Noon at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup.
