James "Jim" Joseph Novak Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1933 - 2013 Jim Novak 1933 - 2013 James Joseph Jim Novak, 79, of Wurtland, Kentucky was called home to be with the Lord, Monday, April 8, 2013 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky. Mr. Novak was born August 24, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio a son of the late Edward and Bertha Ausperk Novak. He was a retired machinist with American National Can Company in Cleveland, Ohio. An active member of the Moose Lodge 701 in Ironton, Ohio He was a softball coach for many years during the 70s in Cleveland Jim loved to be outdoors playing horseshoes, camping, boating and fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sons James Novak Edward Novak He is survived by His wife of 42 years Loretta Gray Novak 1 daughter Linda LeCastre Parma, Ohio 2 sons Duane Blankenship and his wife Maryellen Strongsville, Ohio Doug Blankenship Cleveland, Ohio 5 grandchildren Jackie LeCastre Cathy LeCastre Scott LeCastre James Blankenship Madison Blankenship Several great-grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 pm Thursday, April 11, 2013 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Rev. Norman Gray and special singing by Rev. Gray and family. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 pm until service time at 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at www.reedfuneralhome.us
