Ellis Madden Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1941 - 2013 Ellis Madden 1941 - 2013 Ellis Madden, 71, of South Portsmouth, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Southern Ohio Medical Center Hospice Care in Portsmouth, Ohio. Mr. Madden was born November 23, 1941 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late Dewey and Ollie Davis Madden. He was a retired diesel mechanic with Teamsters Local 413 in Columbus, Ohio. He was preceded in death by His wife of 24 years Charlene Jarrell Madden 2 brothers Lloyd Madden Estel Madden He is survived by 2 sons Ellis Randall (Barb Freeman) Madden Portsmouth, Ohio Mark (Karla) Madden Clark County, Indiana 1 daughter Melissa (Tim) Tolliver Ostrander, Ohio 1 brother Glenn (Gloral Mae) Madden Greenup 2 sisters Emma (Jewel) Musser Greenup Pauline (Ricky) Jordan Greenup Close Friends Arvel and Becky Tipton Columbus, Ohio 6 grandchildren Delane Ellis Michael Tony Amanda Bethany Jessica 4 great-grandchildren Rya Gianna Bryson Kaylee Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 pm Tuesday August 6, 2013 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, by Bro. Gary Vaughn. Burial will be in the Madden Family Cemetery, Zion Ridge, Garrison, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Melissa and Family , Sorry to hear about your Father. When someone you love passes on they become a memory , the memories becomes a treasure. So always treasure the special moments you spent with them, That and the Family is what helps you make it through each day. Your in my thoughts and prayers.

A good friend that will be missed. Ellis could always devise a fix for any mechanical breakdown or revision that was needed---a good guy to have around !
