John Carpenter Jr. ,86, of Wurtland, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2013 surrounded by his family at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
Mr. Carpenter was born February 9, 1927 a son of the late John Sr. and Nannie Bush Carpenter.
He was the owner of Junes Garage and Wrecker Service.
retired from the Greenup County Road Department.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Monday, November 25, 2013, at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Reverend Butch Kiger.
Burial will be in Bellefonte Memorial Gardens in Flatwoods, Kentucky.
Visitation will be 5-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home and one hour before the funeral on Monday at the funeral home.
