Estep 1941  2013 James A Estep, 72, of Ironton, Ohio, formerly of Greenup, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 15, 2013 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Mr. Estep was born January 3, 1941 in Pikeville, Kentucky a son of the late Monroe Estep and Loami Pugh Belford. He retired from Greenbo State Park He was a member of the Moose Lodge #701 Ironton, Ohio, a member of American Legion, Raceland, KY and a member of the AMVETS, Greenup, KY In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 son Gerald Dwayne Estep 2 brothers Jeffery Estep Troy Harold Estep 3 sisters Elaine McKnight Linda Boyles Fay Estep He is survived by 3 sons Ricky (Susan) Estep Greenup Michael Estep South Point, Ohio Mark Estep Wurtland, KY 2 daughters Tammy (Bryan) Rowe Ironton, Ohio Lisha Litteral Argillite, KY 2 brothers Paul (Tammy) Estep Russell, KY Kerry Lee Estep Raceland, KY 1 sister Jewel Hall Dayton, Ohio 11 grandchildren 12 great-grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pete Roar. Burial will be in the Plum Grove  Collins Cemetery in Greenup. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time on Wednesday. Condolences may be made at www.reedfuneralhome.us

I am heartbroken to hear that my dear Uncle James has passed away. He was such a wonderful man that I loved dearly. I wish that I could be there for the family, but please know that I am there in thoughts and prayers. I love all of you. Rest in peace, Uncle James. The thoughts of our talks and laughter will always be with me. I love you.
