Larry Joe Lambert Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1951 - 2014 Larry Joe Lambert 1951  2014 Larry Joe Lambert, 62, of Little White Oak Road, Load, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky. Mr. Lambert was born January 13, 1951 in Kenova, WV a son of the late Paul Edward and Mildred Page Caldwell Lambert. He was a member of the Calvary Bible Baptist Church in Marion, Ohio and a member of the Carpenter Local 472. He is survived by His wife of 44 years Ruby Laverne Bays Lambert 2 daughters Robin (Allen Dell) Lambert North Vernon, IN Bobbie Jo (Robert) Boltz Greenup, KY 1 brother James Lee (Clara) Lambert Atwater, Ohio 2 sisters Geraldine (Mack) Church Catlettsburg, KY Paula Hamilton Ridgeway, Ohio 4 grandchildren Andrew Gilliland Samantha Jo Gilliland Mikaela Gilliland Mikenzie Boltz 1 great-grandson Bryson Gentry Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Tuesday January 14, 2014 at Load Christian Baptist Church by Bro. Jeff Bond. Burial will be in the Lambert Family Cemetery, Load. Visitation will be from 6:00  9:00 pm on Monday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup and 1 hour before the service on Tuesday at Load Christian Baptist Church. In lieu of flower contributions may be made towards funeral expenses. Condolences may be made at www.reedfuneralhome.us

"Good-bye For Now" I thought of you this afternoon, as the sun was sitting fast. The sorrow is there, but do not despair, this to dear one's shall pass! It is our worldly fate, one day we live, and then one day we die. Just make the most of each day given, and it really is OK to cry! You know he gave you all he had, with all his love and cares. His family was his purpose for living, through all the passing years! Do not dwell on the hurt and sorrow, of all the days gone by. Remember all the happy, good times and the sparkle in his eyes! From your life he did not vanish, nor did he disappear. His spirit lives on, and thank God, is so near and dear! So as we live today, just look up and give him a little smile. We to must walk this same path, in just a little while! We will be together again, only in a much better place. Love and Joy live there, and not a tear on nary a face! By John D. for Ruby

I am working out of town Ruby, but I have always loved my cousin Joe. I am sure you will miss him, he never asked for nothing and was always a loving husband and father, honest and hard working, and only loved one woman in this life- YOU.
