Ruby Sammons Gibbs Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1927 - 2014 RUBY SAMMONS 1927  2014 Ruby Sammons, 86, of Smith Branch Road, Greenup, KY, died, Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Wurtland Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mrs. Sammons was born August 29, 1927 in Raceland, KY a daughter of the late Ballard Daniels and Rilda Mae Gambrille Daniels Fannin. She was preceded in death by her husband Ennis Sammons. She is survived by 3 sons Joel Perry Baltimore, MD Linvill Perry Baltimore, MD Floyd Maxey Chantilly, VA A step-son Ennis Edward Sammons Jr. Annapolis, MD 3 daughters Debra Robinson Owens Mill, MD Athelia McGraw Portsmouth, Ohio Sylvia Bielich Fort Benning, GA 2 step-daughters Barbara A. Wilson Phyllis Pease Sammons South Shore, KY Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm Friday, January 16, 2014 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by J.R. Asbury and Scott Robinson. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until funeral time Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd, KY.
