Ardis Lawhun, 80, of Academy Hollow Road, Greenup, KY, passed away, Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, KY.
Mr. Lawhun was born January 29, 1933 in Olive Hill, KY, a son of the late Leonard and Sarah Bocook Lawhun.
He was retired from CSX Railroad
Was a U.S. Marine veteran
A member of the American Legion
He is survived by

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Friday, January 24, 2014 at Garvin Ridge Wesleyan Church, Olive Hill, KY by Brother J.C. Bond. Burial will be in the Garvin Ridge Cemetery. Military graveside rites will be conducted by Greenbo Marine League.
Visitation will be 6-8 pm Thursday at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup and noon until funeral time Friday at the church.
