David P. Wellman, 73, of Argillite, Kentucky went to be with the Lord Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at his home under the care of Hospice with his wife and family at his side.
David was born March 8, 1941 in Ashland, Kentucky a son the late Charlie and Myra Prince Wellman.
David was a lifetime member of the Greenup VFW Post 1168
A member of the American Legion Post 43 in Raceland, Kentucky
A member of the AMVETS Post 95 in Greenup
He was of the Baptist faith
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 8, 2014 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Pastor Lloyd Baldridge. Burial will in the Wellman Cemetery, Hunnewell, Kentucky.
Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and 1 hour before the service on Saturday at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 1480 Carter Ave., Ashland, Kentucky 41101
