Mr. Truitt was born November 18, 1927 in Raceland, Kentucky a son of the late Edward Simon and Cynthia Bentley Truitt.
He was a retired Carman / brake repairman with 44 years service with CSX Railroad in Raceland, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Bro. Kenneth Martin. Burial will in the Quillen Cemetery, Lynn, KY
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 - 9:00 pm and one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
