Glenn William Boyles, 73, of Rush, Kentucky formerly of Greenup, went to be with the Lord, Monday, May 12, 2014, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.

Mr. Boyles was born August 13, 1940 in Greenup, Kentucky a son of the late Howard and Lucy Davis Boyles.

Glenn was a retired bus driver for Greenup County Schools. He was a former pastor of the Pumpkin Center, Argillite, Kentucky and was a preacher for several local churches. He enjoyed working on small engines and lawnmowers. One of his favorite hobbies was fox hunting.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup by Rev. Ray Sexton, Rev. Matthew Adams and Bro. Timmy Porter. Burial will be in the Warnock Cemetery, Warnock, Kentucky.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00  9:00 pm and one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home.

My heartfelt sympathies to the family. Proverbs 17:17 tells us that "A companion is loving all the time and ... is born for when there is distress. "In times of such sorrow, the love and support of friends can help carry you through. May their comfort help sustain you during this difficult difficult time.
