Perry Johnson Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1922 - 2014 Perry Johnson 1922-2014 Perry Johnson, 91, of Greenup, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky. Mr. Johnson was born July 28, 1922 in Warnock, Kentucky a son of the late Thomas and Linda Potter Johnson. He was a lifetime member of Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Treasurer of the church Loved to sing and lead songs at church Loved camping at Perry Hollow Was a lifetime tobacco, poultry, cattle, and corn farmer Had a commercial poultry farm that was associated with Valley Poultry and Ralston Purina. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters Mary Ann Johnson and Lizzie Elizabeth Chaffins 5 brothers Andrew Johnson Frank Johnson William Johnson Jim Johnson Clairevert Johnson He is survived by 2 sons Elias Thomas Bub (Kim) Johnson Wurtland, KY James Edwin (Kim) Johnson Ashland, KY 1 daughter Ethel Marie Bello Greenup, KY 1 brother John Morgan Johnson Grayson, KY 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren Several Nieces and Nephews Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday June 28, 2014 at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup, Kentucky by Moderator John Paul Clark. Burial will be in Warnock Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm Friday and one hour before the service on Saturday at the funeral home. Condolences may be made at www.reedfuneralhome.us

Just wanted to say how much Uncle Perry will be missed. He was a big part of my life growing up. He was always there when I needed help with mom and dad. I know he is with all the family in heaven talking about old times. Just know that one day we will see them again when we get to heaven. They are in a better place than us, we just have to have faith that we will see them again. Take care. With love, Cristi

I m so sorry for your loss. The Bible gives us a hope of a resurrection, this is a provision from Jehovah God showing his undeserved kindness. In God's new world, "No resident will say: I m sick and pain will be no more- Isaiah 33:24; Revelation 21:1-4. Please accept my sincere condolences.
