Barry Keith Mowery, 70, of Lloyd, Kentucky went to be with the Lord surrounded by his loving family Sunday, July 20, 2014 at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio.
Barry was born on January 16, 1944 in Ashland, Kentucky a son of the late Alva Jr and Juanita Braden Mowery.
Barry was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lloyd
Was past president of the former Greenup Jaycees
Retired from AK Steel Corp. in Ashland, KY
Member of the Steel Workers Local 1865
Was very involved with the Upward Basketball program at his church.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 1 sister

Several Brothers-in-laws and sister-in-laws who he cared deeply for.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the First Baptist Church in Lloyd by Pastor Jim Yates. Burial will be in the Brick Union Cemetery in Lloyd.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 9:00 pm at Reed Funeral Home in Greenup and one hour before the service on Thursday at the First Baptist Church in Lloyd.
