Mrs. Slaughter was born March 19, 1943 in Naples, Kentucky a daughter of the late Johnnie and Rebecca Poplin Triplett. She was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers Ellis Triplett James Triplett Robert Triplett 3 sisters Dorothy Osborne Mary Margaret Traylor Rhebie Gullett She is survived by Her husband Leo Slaughter Ironton, Ohio 1 son Daniel (Shannon) Slaughter Rush, KY 3 Daughters Karen Sue Slaughter Ashland, KY Lisa Hudson South Point, OH Rebecca (George) Crisp Ashland, KY 2 brothers Troy (Bonnie) Triplett Lloyd, KY Carl (Jerri) Triplett Greenup, KY 3 Sisters Sylvia McDermontt Greenup, KY Mollie Harris Worthington, KY Gracie Brown Ashland, KY 7 Grandchildren Eden Russell Susanna Russell Isabella Slaughter Aaron Russell Jordan Smith Sarah Crisp James Smith Graveside service will be at 1:00 pm on Monday November 17, 2014 at Kirby Flats Cemetery in Boyd County, Kentucky by Dr. Jerry Foster. Reed Funeral Home in Greenup is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be made at www.reedfuneralhome.us.

I was extremely sad to hear about the death of my aunt Stella. She and I were great friends in our youth, she being only 4 days younger than me. I'm sure she will be missed by her immediate family and friends. I wish I could be there for her services...

I am Stella's granddaughter, i never had the pleasure of meeting her in person, but on the phone. She fought Hard, loved our Lord and savior, here's to playing final fantasy on the new earth
