Patricia Arlene Spencer Craig, age 54, of Gallipolis, OH,died Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at her residence. She was born May 1, 1948 in Gallia County. She was the daughter of Betty Harris Spencer and the late James Thomas Spencer. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband Gilbert M. Craig Jr., whom she has been married to for 23 years and was very supportive of his ministry at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She is the mother of four loving children: Heather (Cody) Roberts of Euclid, OH; Bobby (Nancy) Mabry of Cincinnati, OH; Gilbert Craig III, and Gretchen Craig, both at home. Patricia is also, survived by a brother Tom (Linda) of Tucson, Arizona and sisters Teri Howell, and Robin (Paul) Close, both of Gallipolis.
Funerl services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday September 28, 2002 at the Paint Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Joseph L. Woods and Rev. Harry D. Scott officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Street Cemetery. Friends my call at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home Friday (today) from 6-8 PM and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, 4th and Main St. Middleport, OH 45760. Pall Bearers will be: Christopher "Pete" Anderson, Charlie Miller, James Mitchell, Tom Gooch, Andy Gilmore, Raymond Ratcliffe. Honorary Pall Bearers will be: Keith Sheets and Pat Patterson.
