Mary F. Eads, age 79, of Gallipolis, died Tuesday morning October 1, 2002 at her residence. Born September 4, 1923 in Gallia County, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Lafe Larson and Helen Hunt Larson Shaffer. In addition to her parents whe was preceded by her husband James Virgil Eads, Sisters Goldie Peck and Ella Mae Williams, and a Brother James F. Larson. She was a retired employee of the Evans Packing Co. and French City Meats, she retired after 29 years of service. She is survived by a brother George D. Larson of Patriot, and a Niece Dinah M. Eads Larson whom she raised. Other surviving members include several nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews, several great great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Friday October 4, 2002 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home, with Pastor Jack Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
