Doris Lorene Nolan, age 69, of Rio Grande, died Sunday morning December 1, 2002 at her residence. Born July 17, 1933 in Gallipolis, daughter of the late Chancey Hollis Roach and Ola Miller Roach of Gallipolis. She was a homemaker and a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Amvets of Ohio.
In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband David A. Nolan Jr. who she married October 3, 1953 in Gallipolis, one daughter: Pamela (Robert) Franklin of Gallipolis, three sons: David Nolan of Gallipolis, Tim (Tara) Nolan of Gallipolis, and Tony (Paula) Nolan of Gallipolis, 13 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren, two brothers: Richard (Clarabelle) Roach of Gallipolis, and Bobby C. Roach of Gallipolis.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday December 4, 2002 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Ohio Valley Memory Gradens. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-9 PM.
