Lucille B. Dalton, age 77, of Gallipolis passed away Monday March 17, 2003 at the Arbors of Gallipolis. Born August 26, 1925 in Colloden, WV. She was the daughter of the late Guy and Virginia Honaker Edwards. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Basil A. Dalton, by 5 brothers: Freemont, Lawrence, Earl, Leo, and Bradley Edwards; and by 2 sisters: Elsie and Anna White.

Lucille worked for 16 years at the Bob Evans Packing House, she later worked for several years at Young's Mobile Home Park. She was of the Church of Christ faith.

She is survived by 2 Daughters: Violet Neal of Gallipolis, and Joyce Grose of Louisiana; 7 Grandchildren: Teresa Kuhn, who lived with Lucille, Charles L. Kuhn of Pensicola, FL, Alisa Austin of Escondido, CA, Kevin Kuhn of Norfolk, VA, Lyronda Delgado of Gallipolis, Trudy Queen of Gallipolis, and Charles A. Stone; 21 Great Grandchildren: Joshus, Julian, Noah, Kevin, Maurice, Jerry, Tristan, Enedina, Michael, Dakoda, Jennifer, Richard, Marco, Jessica, Chey, Gree, Dillon, McKinnie, Olivia, Bently, Rose, and Nicole; 3 Great Great Grandchildren: Lauren, Joshua, and Hallie.

Funeral services will be 6:00 P.M. Saturday March 22, 2003 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home with Ronnie White officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Lung Association.

To Charlie Kuhn and family. The "Lord giveth and The Lord taketh away". There are never any words one can use to make your pain any less and to convey to you (the family) that yes we do understand your pain and loss but I do want to express my condolances to you the family and know that you are in my prayers and thoughts at your time of loss.
