Lynn Scott Stapf, age 61, of Gallipolis, died Wednesday morning June 11, 2003 at his residence. Born August 22, 1941 in Waterford, Ohio, he was the son of the late Martin Ross Stapf and the late Mary Agnes Linscott Stapf. In addition to his parents he was preceded by a daughter Linda Lee Stapf.
Lynn was a plumber for Carter's Plumbing for over 21 years.
He is survived by: Wife: Wilma Mlissa 'Willie' Byus Stapf; Daughter: Robin (William) Atwood of Gallipolis; 2 Grandchildren: Robert Stapf, and Shaun Atwood; 7 Step Grandchildren: William Atwood Jr., Robert Matthew Atwood, Donovan Atwood, Sierra Atwood, Ashley Atwood, Katrina Atwood, and Joseph Atwood; Sister: Sue (Randy) Trooter of Lowell; 2 Brothers: Martin Ross (Gladys) Stapf Jr. of Waterford, and Clyde (Aveline) Stapf of Columbus.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday June 13, 2003 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home with Pastor Willard Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday (today) from 6-9 P.M.
