Kenneth Larry Jeffers, age 52, of Eureka, died in the burn unit of Cincinnati University Hospital Friday October 10, 2003. Jeffers the beloved son of the late Kenneth Nibert Jeffers and Marianna Saunders Jeffers was a long time and founding member of Christ United Methodist Church, where he helped with the construction of the new church. He was also a United States Army Veteran. His generosity, kindness, and caring endeared him to all his loved ones, and he will be sorely missed by his family, friends, and neighbors. Jeffers is survived by his daughter: Lisa Marie Jeffers, one grandson: Kenneth Russell Smith of Miamisburg; Sisters: Joan Phillips, Tharon Jeffers, Sue Crowley, and Clar McClung all of the Columbus area; nieces and nephews: Jay Phillips, Kelli Phillips Leinbaugh, Carmen Crowley, Jason Crowley, Katrina McClung, Tiffancy McClung; and great-nieces: Stephanie Leinbaugh, and Garbrielle Leinbaugh.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday October 14, 2003 at the Christ United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kandy Nuce officiating. Burial will follow in Clay Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Christ United Methodist Church.
