My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family.I choose to think of Barb,my step mother in heaven with my dad walking those streets of gold, no more pain,no more suffering ,no sorrow and her body whole and healthy. She made my dad a very happy man and was with him till the end. I remember as a child spending time with her and my father, she always made us feel part of her family. On my last visit to Ohio which was many years ago (sad to say),she was up bright and early cooking chicken for our drive home. This woman was truly one with a big heart and reached out to everybody. Andrew,Bobby,Annette and Kari I wish I could be there now, just know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to Barb's family. She was so kind to my Mom, Maude Whealdon, when she cared for her at Gallia Manor. I still treasure the picture Barbara painted for my Mom of our original homeplace. Barbara was a very kind and special person

Our heart felt condolences are with the family at this time. I remember growing up with the family and even when Barb had a family of her own she couldn't stay away from the East end. That was home and a wonderful place to be. All that knew her and loved her will surely miss her but know that she is in a better place with no more suffering.

My condolences go out to each and everyone of you , I know there is no other pain compared to the loss of a mother , may God give each and everyone of you the strength to carry on with life as Barb would have wanted and to stand beside each other not only through this time of need and sorrow but in years to come , take the time to remember what families are for , I will miss Barb, she was more than family to me she was also a FRIEND. God Bless Each And Every One Of You, Love Debbie

Dear Family, Barb was a fine woman with a loving and generous nature. She had a smile and a laugh for and with every person she knew. I had been looking forward to seeing her again when I visited with my family later this year. I will miss that opportunity, but know in my heart that whoever has the pleasure of her company now is truly blessed and will be welcomed with open arms. We'll miss you, Barb!
