Nancy J. Hoke, age 67, of Gallipolis, died Monday evening November 17, 2003 at Riverside Hospital in Columbus. Born July 31, 1936 in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Jean Glass Bean.
Nancy was a 1954 graduate of Xenia High School. She was a retired employee of Star Bank and was presently working at the Gallipolis Auto Auction. She was a member of New Life Lutheran Church and a former member of the Gallipolis Business and Professional Women.
She is survived by: Husband: Harold F. Hoke who she married on July 6, 1962 in Phillipsburg; 2 Sons: Doug (Kris) Hoke of Newark and David Hoke of Zanesville; 1 Brother: James (Michelle) Bean of Columbus; Special Friends: The Stover Family (Roger, Stephanie, Jennifer, Bonzo, Isabella Bonzo and Kristina); and by Close Friend: Stephane Jones of Zanesville.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday November 21, 2003 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home with Pastors JOhn Jackson and Ralph Hoke officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 P.M. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Heart Association.
