JoAnn Circle, age 64, of Gallipolis, died Thursday January 8, 2004 at Scenic Hills Nursing Center. Born February 12, 1939 in Gallipolis, daughter of Vaught Winter of Columbus and the late Rosalie Halley Reese. She is also preceded by her husband Dean R. Circle.
JoAnn worked for many years as Clerk of Courts in Gallipolis. She later worked with her husband in operating Circle's Catering Service, and most recently she was an employee of Bernadine's. She was Past President of the Gallipolis Emblem Club.
In addition to her father she is survived by 2 Children: Robert 'Bo' (Julie) Allen of Gallipolis and Pam (David) Caldwell of Gallipolis; 5 Grandchildren: Taylor, Tanner, and Trevin Allan; Ryleigh and MaKenna Caldwell.
A memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday January 10, 2004 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood funeral home with Evangelist Don Swick officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to either the Gallia County Humane Society or to the Bossard Memorial Library.
