Dear O'Neil family,
My prayers are with you during this very difficult time. I worked with Phil at the Oak Hill post office. He trained me on two of the routes there. He was a great man, no doubt. If ever anyone was "cut out" to do that job, Phil was. I only regret not being able to see him on last time. I offer my condolences and my prayers. Take care.

I am so very sorry to hear that Phil passed away. I worked with him at the Atomic Plant in Piketon. He was very nice and would help you with any problems you might have. We used to talk about our grandkids and how to spoil them. I know he will be terribly missed.

We just heard that Phil had passed away. It’s a very sad day for all of us who knew him, and we count it a privilege to have worked with him. He was a great industrial hygienist and a fine person. Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you - we share your loss and would like to convey our deepest sympathy and condolences. There’s a lot of controversy over a new movie that’s out, but regardless, please be comforted in the knowledge that Jehovah will remember him like we do (John 11) We look forward to seeing him again (Psalm 37).

Phil was uniquely genuine, compassionate and enthusiastic about people and life. His love for family and country was always evident. Kris and I will always carry the fondest memories of Phil from our times together at Fort Campbell.

Phil was a kind and gentle person. I never heard Phil speak an unkind word about anyone and was always helpful to myself and others learning Industrial Hygiene and Safety. He always answered questions in a kind manner and will be missed.

Phil O'Neill was a kind, gentle wonderful human being. He helped me learn Industrial Hygiene and never failed to answer a question or find an answer if he didn't know it himself. I never heard an unkind word from him about anyone and always had a smile on his face. He will be truly missed by one and all.
