Doris Ernestine Campbell, age 84, of Crown City, died Monday evening June 21, 2004 at the Davis Home in Oak Hill. Born May 16, 1920 in Gallia County, she was the daughter of the late Cary Austin 'Bob' Caldwell, and the late Mary Edna Waugh. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband Charles Ewing Campbell, by 3 brothers: Cleatus, John Lee, and Richard Carl Caldwell, and by 2 sisters: Grace Randolph and Faye Bliss.
Doris was a retired Psychiatric Aid from the Gallipolis Developmental Center, and attended Paw Paw Church.
She is survived by 4 Sisters in law: Betty Caldwell of Crown City, Nancy Campbell of Crown City, Norma Campbell of Morgantown, WV, and Thelma Campbell of Hawaii; Several Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday June 24, 2004 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the the funeral home on Wednesday from 7-9 P.M.
