Frances Irene Bailey, age 83, of Gallipolis and formerly of Duncan Falls near Zanesville, Ohio died June 29, 2004 at Holzer Medical Center. She was born August 7, 1920 in Zanesville, OH. She was the daughter of the late Robert S. and Edna Marshall Lyons. She graduated from Meigs High School in Muskingum County and was employed at the Glass House in Zanesville and also worked at General Motors in Dayton. She was a long time member of the High Hill Presbyterian Church. She meet Myrl O. Bailey in Zanesville in 1942 and they married in Dayton, Ohio in 1945. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by and infant daughter Linda Sue, and 2 Sisters: Annabel Howell and Maxine McKee.

She is survived by her Husband: Myrl Bailey of Gallipolis; Son: Richard (Cindy Lucas) Bailey of Gallipolis; 2 Grandchildren: Andrea Elizabeth and Nicholas Richard Bailey both of Gallipolis; Brother: Bob (Judy) Lyons of Cumberland, Ohio; Former Brother-in-law: Forrest E. Howell of Zanesville; Serveral Nephews and 1 Niece.

Calling hours will be from 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday July 1, 2004 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home 810 Second Avenue Gallipolis, Ohio. Graveside services will be held at Zanesville Memorial Park at 1475 Military Road, Zanesville, Ohio on Friday July 2, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. with Rev. Keith Taylor officiating.

Otto and Richard, I'm sorry to read of Fannie's passing. My prayers are with you both at this time. I remember her making cookies for us when we were kids. You always made me feel at home when i was at your house. Again you are in my prayers. John
