Helen E. Donnally Waugh, age 85, of Crown City, 'Went to be with her Lord and Savior' on September 28, 2004 at Holzer Senior Care Center. She was born November 21, 1918 in Gallia County, to the late Gomer and Amy Lewis Donnally. In addition to her parents she was preceded by her husband James 'Lort' Waugh, by a brother, Stanley Donnally, a sister Wilda V. Donally, and by an infant daughter, Lula Irene Waugh. Helen was a homemaker and a member of Liberty Chapel (Paw Paw) Church.
Helen is survived by: 2 Foster Children: Georgia Mattox and Terri Tarlaton Bush; 2 Foster Grandchildren: Shanda and Seth Clark; 2 Brothers: Kyle Ray (Marjorie) Donnally of Gallipolis, and Charles (Mary) Donnally of Sarasota, FL; 1 Sister: Wanda V. Waugh of Gallipolis; A Special Nephew and his wife: Amel and Judy Waugh of Crown City; and a Special Niece Ada France of Gallipolis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday October 1, 2004 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Workman officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 6-9 P.M. Pallbearers will be: Bruce Waugh, Bill Waugh, Randy Ellis, Jeff Donnally, Robert Donnally and Amel Waugh. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Allen Waugh, Erie Biars, and Nathan Biars.
