Richard Joe Call, age 68, of Crown City, died Thursday morning January 13, 2005 at his residence. Born January 12, 1937 in Gallia County, he was the son of the late John and Ruby Beaver Call. In addition to his parents Joe was preceded by a sister Carrol Jean Call.
Joe was a Dairy Farmer, a United States Army Veteran, and a member of Providence Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife: Patricia A. 'Patty' Hively Call who he married on June 6, 1964 at Providence Missionary Baptist Church. To this marriage was born 3 Children: Tammy (Kenny) Gray of Gallipolis, Tommy Call, and John Call both of Crown City; 4 Grandchildren: Tabby Call, Richie Call, Candy Gray, and Courtney Gray; 1 Sister: Liz Fisher of Gallipolis; 1 Brother John (Ferris) Call of Gallipolis.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday January 16, 2005 at the Waugh-Halley-Wood Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.
